MORE THAN 100 COMPANIES INVOLVED IN THE MARKETING OF HONEY IN ANUGA 2021

(EA, September 15th 2021) ANUGA, one of the largest food fairs in the world will be held in Köln, Germany, from October 9 to 13, 2021. The appointment is face-to-face or online.

Regarding the honey market, we have found more than 100 companies which offered, bottling, marketing and distributing honey worldwide. The country with the most companies interested in honey is Italy, with thirteen companies, among which the CONAPI cooperative stands out. Eleven German companies among which we find Tuchel and son, as one of the traditional ones. Spain follows with 9 companies that have honey in their business portfolio, the most traditional that we know is Mielso S.A. Greece also has at least nine companies that sell honey. Poland presents seven companies interested in honey, where Bartnik is the best known in the Apimondia field, as is Turkey, with the presence of Ari Susam. Then there are at least six companies from France, where Famille Michaud Apiculteurs is the flagship company and another six from the Netherlands. Five companies from Austria. The United States features four major business groups, as does Russia, which include honey. It is followed by Iran, Serbia and Ukraine with three companies each one present in the honey sector. Two companies from Saudi Arabia, Moldova, Pakistan and Switzerland. With only one company, Andorra, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, India, Virgin Islands, Jordan and Luxembourg. The only Latin American country present in the honey sector will be Mexico with two companies. There is still free space for companies to continue to join.

Health requirements to protect visitors who do it in person: Europeans enter with their digital ticket and the European vaccination certificate, also in digital format. Non-EU visitors can enter, with the same written certificate authorized to enter Germany, if they were vaccinated at least 28 days in advance with any of the vaccines approved in the EU (Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna or Jansen); or with a negative antigen test or PCR in the last 48 hours. Also the patients recovered from COVID-19 in a period greater than 28 days and less than 6 months.
