Royal Jelly Market in Argentina It is POSSIBLE to COMPETE Several factors and from different points of view impelled us to recapture the treatment of this thematic one. At first place, Fernando Morán of"La Casa de la Miel"(The House of the Honey), one of the most traditional and serious trade in the downtown of Buenos Aires, speaking about the Royal Jelly market he commented us: "I have serious doubts about the Royal Jelly quality coming from China and, to weigh that they have permanent stock and a price of 100 dollars per kilograms, I prefer to pay a better price in exchange for the security and tranquility that give me the local producers who supply me for many years, and with whose product I has not problems with the demanding clientele of our business." From this significant sentence, the article relate the possibilities that has the Argentinean producer, to harvest and to sell Royal Jelly into a market that demands good quality. To top Production Method of Royal Jelly We listen Mr. Robera taking about a simplified production method of Royal Jelly, last September in Chivilcoy meeting. Besides this interesting conference "Espacio Apícola" traveled expressly to "25 de Mayo" to interview Belmar Marchesotti, main supplier of "La Casa de la Miel" (The House of the Honey) colleague and friend of Mr. Robera. Introduction to The Pollen Universe Dr. WINGENROTH For many years the beekeeping Teacher Rosa Irene Psarudakis, of Mendoza (Argentina), she made big efforts so that "Espacio Apícola" people, they took contact with Mónica Cristina Wingenroth. This year Dr. Wingenroth, accompanied by Psarudakis and a nurtured delegation of beekeepers from Mendoza, participated during three days of the Meeting in San Francisco (Arg.), where we could begin a first dialogue. Mónica is a Doctor in Biological Sciences, specialized in Palynology. She studies the pollen of current and last plants. She works in the "Instituto Argentino de Nivología, Glaciología y Ciencias Ambientales" of the "Centro Regional de Investigaciones Científicas y Tecnológicas, CRICYT (Regional Center of Scientific and Technological Investigations). At times of the exhibition organized by the Municipality of Lavalle, in Mendoza Province, we travel with the intention to interview with her and to know more than close herr work. Besides the important books published on her palynological investigations, her weatherbeaten hands, her option to live far from the city beside the river in the hillside of the mountain, her own immense herbarium, those more than 600 varieties of plants collected by her, are faithful reflection of a long, intense, passionate and fruitful investigative activity. We visit her Laboratory, where the people accustomed to see her arrive in her old "Citroën" every morning and at any hour of day or night, Saturdays and Sundays included, when she needs to appeal at microscope, to her database or bringing samples after a week of expedition. Then, she received us in her house, we walk beside the river recognizing different plants varieties and we go into a little in her great love, the mountain, where she taught us to discover the rich and abundant vegetation of the colossal Andes mountain range. The extensive note is about flowers, the Pollen!! and the Pollen study importance in different sciences (Paleo-climates, Melito-palynology, Allergies, etc.) To top |
